Mothers who do not know about or understand an important law of nature - "Supply and Demand" - often doubt their ability to produce 'enough' milk for their baby. Rarely, a mother will be born with "Insufficient Glandular Tissue" (IGT). These mothers need the assistance of a Lactation Consultant and will need to supplement with donated milk or formula. Supplementing can be done AT THE BREAST. There is no need for bottle feeding at all.
When a mother supplements at the breast, the baby will get ALL of the milk the mother produces. 💕
